As you may or may not know, we are not "stuff" people. We like to DO. We like to SEE. We like to EXPLORE. What better way for us to kick-start our ultimate adventure as a married couple than a road trip to the West Coast? So instead of bed sheets, (we really don't NEED them) and toasters (we REALLY don't WANT them) help send us on our road trip honeymoon extravaganza from Santa Fe to the West Coast.

Unless you have been living under a very huge and very soundproof rock that is enitirely isolated from all forms of social media as well as basic cable, you know that same sex marraige is not recognized as a legal union in Oklahoma. Once we say "I do" on that sacred Santa Fe earth, we will be given every beautiful right that can possibly be granted to a married couple. Two weeks later, when we make our way back home, it will all be taken away. So, we plan to have a legal contract written specifically for us, granting one another many of the rights that we don't have here. Just think... what if one of us gets hurt and lands in the hospital? What if one of us gets in trouble? As far as Oklahoma law is concerned, we are entitled to the same rights as are two strangers. There is no denying that progress is ABSOLUTELY happening, but in the mean time, we plan to prepare and protect ourselves from this social chasm (understatement) in every way that we can. This fund goes directly toward attorney fees. So c'mon... HELP US GET LEGAL.
