One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Coloradans and their families. They effectively advocate for LGBTQ Coloradans and their families by lobbying the General Assembly, the executive branch, and local governments on issues like safe schools, transgender equality, relationship recognition, and LGBTQ health and human services. We wouldn't be here today without the hard work of organizations like One Colorado.

Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with life-threatening illnesses. Volunteers package and deliver each meal, free of charge, to neighbors living with cancer, HIV/AIDS, kidney/heart/lung disease, and other illnesses. Lauren's mom has volunteered with Project Angel Heart for 30 years, and used to bring Lauren along on many of her meal runs. It's one of the ways Lauren learned about the importance of giving back to your community.

JAMLAC seeks justice for people who struggle with poverty and oppression. They do this through compassionate civil legal representation in a way that affirms their dignity and strengthens their capacity to positively direct their own lives. Our good friend, Nikki, has worked for this organization for many years and we are so impressed with the work that they do!
