We'll be staying 4 nights at Lake Lucerne Resort in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The 6-acre lake is surrounded by a handful of historic, restored cabins. The cabin we've chosen is "Gingerwood Cottage" and we are so excited to spend some quality time there with our two dogs, Scout and Riley. It's secluded, romantic, and- best of all- it's very affordable compared to the other private cabins in the area.

We'd love to spend an hour riding horses at Bear Mountain Riding Stables. They have 12 gentle horses, and we already have our favorites picked out on their website! (Javen likes Kasper or Bucky; I like Ringo or Tinker.)

We don't have every second of our trip planned out yet because we want the chance to share in a spontaneous adventure or two! Maybe we'll go canoeing on the Kings River, or find a meaningful souvenir in one of the many shops in downtown Eureka Springs. Maybe we'll get matching tattoos. (Woah- just kidding!)
