Mt Cook is the tallest mountain in New Zealand. Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is home of the highest mountains and the longest glaciers. It is alpine in the purest sense - with skyscraping peaks, glaciers and permanent snow fields, all set under a star-studded sky. We will be taking a 50-minute helicopter flight of Mount Cook and The Glaciers. We will fly over the Mt Cook National Park and its vast glaciers and snowfields. We will see the ancient waters of the Tasman Glacier lake before flying the length of the Tasman Glacier, New Zealand's Longest Glacier. We will experience what it feels like to stand in snow amongst the mountains as you take in a spectacular view of New Zealand's highest peak, Aoraki/Mount Cook during your snow landing. Cross to the West Coast and view the formidable Franz Josef and Fox glaciers before completing your journey with uninterrupted views of the summit ridge of Aoraki/Mt Cook.

On day 11, we will be going on a 4-hour helicopter tour of Milford Sound with a flight across the Southern Alps. Upon landing in Milford Sound, we will join the Mitre Peak Cruise, an exploratory nature-cruise on this famous fiord. View cascading waterfalls, towering rock faces and unique wildlife, and then voyage out past St Anne's Lighthouse to the Tasman Sea. We will have the unique experience of getting an exclusive alpine snow landing for the ultimate Fiordland National Park experience. During our tour we will get to have lunch overlooking Milford Sound. This will be a lifetime experience to say the least!

Full day adventure with Dart River Adventures. We start the day by taking a jet boat ride up the Dart River into the heart of the world-renowned Mount Aspiring National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then take "funyaks" (inflatable kayaks) from the Southern Alps to Lake Whakatipu. We picnic on the river. Finishing up our day by jumping aboard a 4 wheel drive coach, to travel through some of New Zealand's most renown filming locations, seen in movies such as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and X-Men Origins - Wolverine.

On day 4 we will be going on a full-day private tour of the Hawkes Bay region which includes a private guide & vehicle for the day (no drinking & driving!), entrance fees & wine tastings at 4 different wineries, visits to local artists & producers, and a private lunch at a winery.

One day 1 we will make our way to our first activity on our honeymoon which is a visit to the Hobbiton Movie Set (Lord of the Rings) to see how Middle-Earth was transformed into The Shire. There we will have lunch at Shire's Rest overlooking the gorgeous landscape.

After our first night in New Zealand we will be going on a sunrise/pre-breakfast soak in the natural hot springs of Lake Tarawere

Our second day in New Zealand will be a full day exploring Rotorua. We will be exploring Wai O Tapu, Te Puia and getting the full experience of a Maori cultural performance with the Haka and a ceremonial welcome!

While staying at Mount Cook, we will be going stargazing with the Big Sky Stargazing Tour.

Our second-to-late night in New Zealand we are going to ONSEN for the Ultimate Relaxation Experience which consists of a 45-minute soak in the ONSEN hot pools while overlooking the Shotover River and after will receive a 1-hour deep tissue couples massag!
