This winemaker brought the winemaking techniques from Portugal (where we got engaged) to Rioja, establishing the wine identity there. We'll be having a very special tasting exploring their library of wines and learning the history of the region, as this vineyard was established in 1852.

While we're in Cambados, we'll join a little boat on a cruise out to the breeding area for Oysters, Mussels, and Scallops. The boat has a glass bottom, so we can learn about each of the shellfish as we cruise the marina. The boat also offers bottomless white wine and fresh mussels for the whole ride, which is really why we're going if we're being honest.
