Help us get there! Despite what google maps says about kayaking the Pacific Ocean to get to New Zealand, we're pretty set on flying. And we're pretty excited about Air New Zealand and their free meals and reclining seats on the 16 hour flight! We'll each watch 23 movies on the flight from San Francisco to Aukland.

New Zealand has two main islands (North and South). While we enjoy swimming, a flight might be a bit quicker.

Road trip! We will be seeing the country and sleeping each night in our mini-camper van. This vehicle will be perfect for stopping at our favorite landscapes and sleeping under the stars.

This is probably one of the most famous activities in New Zealand. At the Waitomo Caves, we will float down a enclosed river through the caves where the famous glow worms light up the roof.

We'll have a romantic honeymoon dinner to kick off our trip. We'll share a table with a view, champagne included!

Jacques Cousteau rated Poor Knights, NZ among the best diving spots in the world. This unique marine reserve has the best of tropical currents to make it inviting for a wide variety of tropical species.

Seafood is abundant in NZ (no surprise there due to the whole island thing) and we are ready and willing to embark on a seafood sampling tour du force!

It's an activity that consists of descending a fast moving river with an uncontrollable current. We are ready!

Guided kayak tour along the golden beaches of Abel Tasman National Park, including visiting the Adele Island sanctuary - home to protected native birds and New Zealand fur seals!

On the South Island, when a mighty sperm whale flaps its tail at us, we won't forget it in a hurry. These big sea monsters come to this particular stretch of water for a marine habitat rich in their kind of plankton.

The tamer way to view undersea, snorkeling is right up Karen's alley! We'll swim with the fishes and steer clear of sharks and sting rays.

The mother of them all, the Milford is one of the world's best and most loved multi-day tramps. Stretching through the best of Fiordland National Park, one of the world's seven natural wonders, this 33-mile trail has views we'll never forget.

We can't wait for this behind-the-scenes Lord of the Rings tour in Wellington, where we can view the workshop where the props were made.

The Flying Fox Ride zipline is 560 feet above the river and travels at speeds of up to 100 mph for over a mile!
