As you can probably tell from our "How We Met," learning about and appreciating art has always been a part of our relationship. It's been a while since we've visited the Portland Art Museum, and we'd love to make a day of it.

The music of Buena Vista Social Club was a joyful backdrop to the beginnings of our relationship. Whenever we hear it we dream about learning to salsa dance so some day we can dance to live music in Latin America.

We have been striving to grow more of our own food. We love that the money that we put into it pays off exponentially, especially as we learn to close the loop with preserving, composting, and seed saving. Maybe some day we'll reach Kaitlin's dream of having a homestead, but for now we are growing our garden.

Visiting Loyly, a lovely Scandinavian style sauna facility, is one of our favorite things to do as a couple. It's wonderful to unwind and recenter together.

Our ideal classic date night would be dinner at Screen Door (cocktails, local organic delicacies, and classy southern comfort food) followed by some live music.
