We're considering the first five days of our honeymoon as the "classic honeymoon" portion of the trip. Help us dine at this luxurious sky-high restaurant overlooking Chaweng beach on Koh Samui Island. Soon after this romantic candlelight dinner, we'll be strapping on our backpacks and heading into the jungle of Pai.

While watching one of our favorite Netflix Originals, Chefs Table, we learned of Gaggan -- a restaurant run by chef Gaggan Anand in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2015, it was named by Restaurant as the best restaurant in Asia in the list of The World's 50 Best Restaurants, placing 10th overall worldwide. No. 37 on the top 50 Restaurants in the world list, people have claimed that this place serves up the best thai food in the world. We'll taste it and let you know the verdict.

At some point, the honeymoon has to end. We're planning to wrap up our adventurous 3-week trip with a French-Vietnamese bang! Green Tangerine is a must-go for foodies who make it to Hanoi. One final dinner, we'll raise our champagne in a toast to our new marriage and to you for helping make it unforgettable.

Inscribed under the front cover of our Ad Hoc cookbook is a letter I wrote to Evan on our first Christmas. I overheard him talking about the renowned chef, Thomas Keller, and knew this book would be the perfect gift. Since then, we have challenged ourselves to many recipes. Fun fact: We're devising a plan for how we can live in Hawaii one day! We celebrated our first 2 dating anniversaries in Oahu, and this May we'll head back to our favorite hotel, The Moana Surfrider, to celebrate 4 years together. Just like every other year, we'll look back on all of the love and memories we've shared together -- but this time as husband and wife!
