Barong and Kris is one of the most well known dances in Bali. It is a story telling dance, narrating the fight between good and evil. This dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality.

A cooking class where we'll learn about the exotic herbs and spices used in ceremonial and everyday Balinese dishes and are encouraged to actively help prepare the lavish Balinese feast. This cooking school is highly regarded and is suppose to be a great experience! Jourdan is pretty excited about this one.

We will be lead on a private tour through the country side to visit a few of Bali's beautiful waterfalls. Perfect photo op as a new married couple! We might even take a dip!

During our private visit with a dukun (Balinese healer or medicine man) we will discuss the healing process using traditional medicines and acupressure - and in some cases, magical drawings!

Help us participate in a private Mejaya-jaya ceremony, which is overseen by a Hindu priest. This ceremony is part of the chain of the traditional Balinese wedding ceremony. The purpose of Mejaya-jaya is to release bad energy and bring new energy into your life together. This is a very unique and authentic Balinese experience. We are so excited for this!

Give us tickets to attend a performance of the primitive kecak dance in Arma. This is considered to be the best kecak in Bali. It’s only performed twice each month – at full moon and new moon. We will be there for the new moon.

This is a private excursion through the Munduk countryside, an area of spectacular terrace rice fields. We trek through local farmlands and gardens where we will see farms growing coffee, cloves, cacao, avocados, and other island specialties.

Ulun Danu is a beautifully positioned temple built above small projecting land on Lake Beratan, thus it is known as Ulun Danu, a power or head of the lake. The power refers to goddess of prosperity, Sang Hyang Dewi Danu. It is one of Bali's more beautiful temples!

Transportation and entrance fee to the sacred monkey forest sanctuary.The monkey forest sanctuary offers protection to three troupes of long-tailed monkeys. There is also a beautiful temple to visit that is tightly guarded by the crazy creatures.

A dish recommended by Anthony Bourdain on No Reservations, roast pigs are served each day in the traditional Balinese style until they run out. Bourdain says it's the best sucking pig he ever tasted...who are we to argue!

Romantic and serene without even leaving our room! A private dinner will be set up for us on our room terrace overlooking the beautiful jungle and our private pool. The best part is we can take a moonlit dip when were done. Heaven!

Jimbaran Bay is known for it's string of beachfront restaurants serving fresh fish that is caught just hours before it hits your plate. If you know us well you know how much we love fish! We are excited for this.

The Indian Ocean has always been a wonderful provider for the Balinese. Help Josh experience its abundance for himself by fishing for wahoo, mahi mahi, Spanish mackerel, marlin, tuna, kingfish, sailfish and snapper.

Semiyak is the hub for all the best restaurants and nightlife to be had. We will be staying here towards the end of trip and would love a late nights out to dance and eat and drink. This will buy us a couple rounds of drinks and appetizer at the happening club Ku De Ta.

Lunch or dinner at a nasi padang joint that serves traditional Indonesian cuisine, including chicken rendang, jackfruit and choko curry, boiled cassava leaf, green chili sambal, and corn cakes. This has Josh's name all over it.

Nothing more romantic than walking up to fresh flowers on your bedside!

You can never have enough champagne on your honeymoon! We will enjoy the bubbly while relaxing in our private pool!

Our last destination is in Semiyak and our hotel is said to have the nicest pool villas in all of bali! This room upgrade would be WAY appreciated and would the perfect way to end our trip.

We will enjoy a elegant Balinese dance performance, accompanied by a themed dinner at the authentic open-air Amphitheatre at our resort, adjacent to Seminyak Beach. Balinese dancers express the stories of dance-drama through bodily gestures using their fingers, hands, head and eye movements telling stories from the Mahabharata and Ramayana epics. We have heard this one can't be missed!

This will cover the cost of a beautiful picnic lunch packed by our resort!

Semiyak is our last stop on the trip and is the town with a undeniable sense of chic and cool. Chandi is supposedly, THE place to go in Seminyak, this is for two Seasonal Chef Tasting Menus.

We hope to find a unique piece of artwork or a cultural artifact that will remind us of our trip for years to come! We will send you a picture of the special piece we find.

We will be riding our bikes up to Kintamani on the crater of Mt. Batur then glide effortlessly back downhill to Ubud through a chain of traditional villages dotted with craft studios and cafes. Help us stay off the tourist track by helping us rent our bikes, get some authentic local food and be exposed to amazing art in these small studios.

Treat us to fresh coconut juice after our long bike ride through Ubud. Yum!
