This photo is of Tiefort Mountain, at NTC. By coincidence Josh took this photo doing his Company's Squad Live Fire in February 2025 - two days after first texting Natalie. As a further coincidence, Fort Irwin, in the spring of 2025, marks the longest time Natalie and Josh have spent together (Shout out to the U.S. Army and the NTC Rotational Calendar). By July 4th 2026, the two would have spent over 450 days together as a couple but less than 200 on the same continent and only ~90 in the same time zone. Which is how it will continue for the next year while Natalie finishes Company Command at Fort Hood and Josh becomes a Cavalry Leaders Course Instructor at Fort Benning. Thus our registry is atypical - it features little in the way of home making items and more in the way of helping make a home out of whatever geographic location we both temporarily occupy.
