We are spending our honeymoon in South Africa!

We are staying three nights at this amazing property in the heart of the winelands!

We are so excited for the Safari. We will be going on four games drives and two bush walks. Josh is hoping he gets to see a kill.

We are hoping to see all of the Big Five: African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard, and rhinoceros.

We are staying for three nights at this beautiful hotel in Cape Town.

Maybe we'll finally open the bottle of Dom Perignon!

Our first dinner in South Africa will be a romantic one! We cannot wait to enjoy the tasting menu at this beautiful wine estate.

Josh takes Diana on yet another hike :) Then we explore the city and drive out to the peninsula taking in the gorgeous views!

Asian influenced tapas...yes, please!

We are headed 40 miles off the coast of Cape Town for an epic fishing adventure. Some of the biggest Yellowfin Tuna in the world have been caught off this coast. Diana is hoping to beat the world record or at the very least, beat Josh!

Test Kitchen is known for its creative tasting menu. We are excited to try all of the beautiful dishes and wine pairings!

Foliage serves adventurous food based on the farm to table principle.

We are relaxing with a 90 minute hot stone massage, followed by a 30 min foot treatment. YAAAAASSSS!

We are touring three local wineries. Diana is excited for the white wines, and Josh is excited for the chocolate pairing...of course!

This will be our first helicopter ride ever!

The Elephant Café is a tented restaurant built on a wooden deck in the Zambezi River, upstream from Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia. Customers have the option of arriving by jet boat, or by vehicle through the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (we chose jet boat, OBVIOUSLY). Sitting only 24 people, it is the center point of a riverside location that has been home to a herd of hand-reared elephants for many years. Guests have the privilege of interacting with ten hand-reared elephants, of varying ages, before sitting down to eat their meal. The older elephants, like the bulls Bop, Danny and Madinda, were rescued from severe drought and culls decades ago, while others have assimilated from the wild, or were born into the herd. They are elephants that have grown up with safe human support using the “positive reinforcement method.” It’s an experience one will never forget.

Josh and Diana jump off a cliff a swing across a gorge. They will play rock-paper-scissors to see who jumps first!

We can't wait to fill these glasses up with some Napa Valley reds!

We start with picking vegetables with the Chef in the private garden. We then get to watch and talk with the Chef as he prepares a 4 course meal. Josh will probably ask too many questions!
