The HESC will give us the chance to see rehabilitated animals up close!

Wake Up! It’s an early start. The best game viewing is to be found first thing in the morning! We will meet up for an early morning tea and coffee before heading out on safari at 5:30 AM.

It’s starting to get dark now and the guide will use a spotlight to spot animals. During the dark they will concentrate on the nocturnal animals such as leopards and lions.

As the sun sets, the guide will find a pretty spot in the bush to stop and enjoy Sundowner Cocktails. A real safari tradition.

Enjoy a walk with our tracker. The tracker will tell us fascinating stories of the bush as well as the traditional cultural and medicinal properties of trees and plants.

We sure would appreciate a nice morning sleeping in and enjoying a lazy breakfast after long days of exploring...

Franschhoek is considered South Africa’s food and wine capital. We will go on a winelands tour with wine tastings along the way.

Table Mountain is a flat topped mountain overlooking Cape Town. We can hike or take the cableway up to the top, depending on how adventurous we’re feeling!

Grabbing lunch at the eclectic V&A Waterfront Market. Here you can get South African food, Mexican food, coffee, wraps, chocolate, samosas... There are plenty of options and they all look and smell equally good.

Also known as the Malay Quarter, it is known for its brightly colored homes and their Cape Malay cuisine.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is nestled at the eastern foot of Table Mountain and is the first botanic garden in the world to be included within a natural World Heritage Site.

Afternoon tea is a Cape Town tradition and the Mount Nelson afternoon teas are an institution. The setting is luxurious and the dessert table is a decadent display.

Time for a relaxing trip to the beach! Muizenberg beach is great for surfing, swimming and enjoying the sun. It will be summer when we go in February.

South Africa is considered one of the best places for surfing all year round. The water is a bit chilly, but that might be welcome in the middle of summer!
