To establish a permaculture farm, it takes a lot of plants, time, and water. We hope to make this process quicker with the help of older, more established plants... which is a bit pricier than seeds! These funds will be spent on different perennial plant species that thrive in zone 5b plus materials for sheet mulching, building watering systems, and other garden equipment.We're also hoping to make some renovations to our home like finishing our downstairs laundry room so it can be a fully functioning kitchen (so we can eventually rent out the downstairs). One day, we might even try to buy a pottery wheel and these funds could also support that!

Eventually, we'd love to be able to travel the country together with our pets, but it's a little difficult in the Subaru! We've been dreaming about having a van for a while now, and would love your help it making it come true!

Joey and I began making pottery together in the summer of 2021, and it has really stuck! We've both enjoyed working with our hands, tapping into our creativity, and making things together for the people we love. Now, we're hoping to create our own home studio with a wheel, a small kiln, tools, and clay so that we can constantly be creating without having to spend monthly fees on studios and classes.
