In honor of our dear friend, Jeremy Chen, who passed away from colorectal cancer on May 12, 2021.

The week after our wedding, we'll be heading to Hokkaido, Japan for our honeymoon! Hokkaido is the northernmost island of Japan, and known for their fresh produce, delicious seafood, and beautiful nature. We'll be renting a car and going on a 10-day road trip all around the island!

When we arrive in Hokkdaiko, our first stop will be Daisetsuzan National Park! We'll be climbing Mt Asahidake and enjoying the beautiful fall foliage of Hokkaido's largest national park.

Biei & Furano are known for vibrant flower fields, fresh produce, and beautiful rolling hills. We'll be driving through the area and making many stops along the way!

After our long hike in Daisetsuzan, we'll be ready to soak in the natural hot springs of Noboribetsu, a popular onsen town along the Hokkaido coastline.

After enjoying a good soak at Noboribetsu, we will stay a night next to the beautiful Lake Toya, where fireworks are set off in the lake each night.

Hakodate is a city at the very southern-most tip of Hokkaido, and is known for their delicious, fresh seafood! We can't wait to visit their famous morning seafood market and fill up on a huge chirashi donburi.

Niseko is a famous ski destination, but for our fall trip we will be using it as our homebase for a day hike to the top of Mt Yotei - sometimes called the Mt Fuji of Hokkaido.

Finally at the very end of our trip we'll explore Sapporo, the largest and most famous city in Hokkaido. We'll enjoy the nightlife, explore Sapporo's parks and famous beer museum, and just soak in the final night of our honeymoon.
