Japan’s folklore and supernatural legends are one of the reasons we fell in love with this trip. We’ll be attending a Yokai festival celebrating the mythical creatures and stories that inspired generations of Japanese culture.

We’ll be exploring Kyoto’s famous Fushimi Inari Shrine at sunset and walking beneath thousands of red torii gates winding through the mountainside. This is one of the experiences we’re most looking forward to on our honeymoon.

As many of you know, Seth is a tattoo artist. We’re excited to attend one of Japan’s largest tattoo festivals and experience Japanese tattoo culture together.

One thing we’re especially excited for is experiencing authentic ramen in Japan. Whether it’s a hidden neighborhood spot in Kyoto or a late-night ramen date in Tokyo, we’ll be searching for some of the best bowls Japan has to offer during our honeymoon.

We’ll be spending Halloween in Tokyo and experiencing one of the most unique and exciting nights of our honeymoon. We’re looking forward to seeing the costumes, energy, and atmosphere of Halloween in Japan.
