Home Cooking New York was founded by Jennifer Clair in May 2002. After years of writing cookbooks, recipes, and food editorials for Martha Stewart Living, the opportunity to come together with eager culinary students in a kitchen classroom seemed like the next logical step. Over the last 11 years, the company has grown to include 6 outstanding chef-instructors, all ready to be dispatched into home kitchens all over New York City, or feel free to sign up for cooking instruction at the school! HCNY’s classes range from the basic cooking techniques to cuisine-focused favorites.

Available in New York - Change up your date night routine with a romantic cooking class at Home Cooking New York. Each 2 1/2 hour class is has a maximum of 10 students providing an intimate experience. Each student receives a complete recipe packet and enjoys a full sit-down dinner at the end of class.

West Village Wine Tour:
The West Village walking tour starts amid the Italian bottles at Cantina Corsino, heads over to A.O.C. for French wines, then finishes up at Ayza Wine and Chocolate, which supplements its sweet specialty with a selection of 90 fine wines and champagnes.
Soho Wine Tour:
The SoHo walking tour begins at City Winery and visits Galli on Saturdays and Boqueria on Sundays. Tours last approximately two hours, and each stop includes food pairings.

Discover the fine wines and scenic beauty of Long Island's North Fork during a full-day, guided winery tour! The North Fork of Long Island is a 30-mile peninsula, known for its pristine beaches, quaint seaside villages, and amazing wineries! The first vineyards here were planted in 1973 and, since then, the area has become a destination for wine enthusiasts from around the world.
Your day will begin at the Adventure Cafe located on Manhattan's Lower East Side, where you will meet your guide and find a seat aboard the luxury bus. Sit back and relax as you make the approximately 2-hour drive out to the North Fork. Once there you will visit 3 separate wineries, each with their own style and approach to wine making. Spend your day learning about the unique character of Long Island's wines as you are treated to 13 samples. You'll also enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch and a antipasti platter to share, so you won't go hungry!

Join Discover Outdoors for a day of horse riding and wine tasting. Start with a lovely drive upstate to the stables, which sit on hundreds of wooded acres and boast some of the best riding trails in the Northeast.
After a short safety briefing, you will get acquainted with your horse. The lively, but well-mannered, horses have names like Uno, Dos and Tres; there is even an all-white pony called Gringo. We will saddle up, then ride for an hour through fields and woods with an experienced wrangler. All skill levels are welcome. In proper conditions for experienced riders, cantering is allowed.
Next, we will drive to a beautiful vineyard in the Hudson Valley for a wine tasting. Enjoy a sample of reds and whites along with some of the best hard ciders in America. Listen to the winery's live acoustic music while you eat and afterwards stroll around the vineyard grounds.
