As an alternative, if you would like to gift us something that will last us a long time, there are two big remodeling projects we need to undertake in order to make the house we are going to share a home: remodeling the kitchen and bathroom. This fund is for the BATHROOM remodeling. Contributions made here will be put towards new: white goods (shower, toilet, sink), tiles, lighting fixtures, and the soft luxury of new towels! We know that separately these items can be quite costly, so we decided to create a fund for the entire project. In the new year, we are looking to increase the size of our family by one furry best friend. So... we would like to introduce you to "Biscuit!" Well, this isn't Biscuit per se... but it is an adorable Cavapoo, just like the one we dream of bringing home. Biscuit already holds so much love in our hearts, even though we haven't actually met him yet. We cannot wait to bring him home to give him the best life possible! Thank you!!

Unfortunately, with work and family commitments, we are unable to commit 100% to our honeymoon date yet. However, we have managed to plan a 36-hour 'Mini-moon' the month after our wedding - to meet the Pope! Okay, so we are not guaranteed to meet him personally; but there IS a chance depending on how many other newlywed couples are there that day! We have secured tickets to receive a Newlywed Blessing during the Papal Audience on December 19. Rome is one of both of our favourite cities, and we are both so excited about this unique trip and opportunity. This fund is for the flights for this Mini-moon – return flights for both of us from London Heathrow to Rome Fiumicino. Thank you, and we look forward to raising a glass to everyone in the air!

This fund is for our one night accommodation at the Vatican Style Suites (https://www.vaticanstyle.com/vaticanstyle-hotel-rome.htm) during our Mini-moon! The hotel is right next to St. Peter's Square, so we can get to the Papal Audience bright and early on Wednesday morning :) Thank you!

What would be a Mini-moon in Rome - or any trip in Rome for that matter - without gelato?! As we will be based right near the Vatican, we plan on visiting Jess' favourite gelato shop in Rome, Old Bridge Gelato, at least 3 times in the 36 hour trip.
