Arrowhead Reptile Rescue was started in 1991 and is a network of reptile and amphibian rehabilitators and foster homes located in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. ARR is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and GuideStar Gold Charity dedicated to the rescue of displaced reptiles, wildlife rehabilitation, and to herpetological education. Arrowhead is supported solely through donations and private contributions, and is run by a small staff of volunteers. ARR is fully licensed and approved by Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife and the US Fish and Wildlife Service for education and reptile rehabilitation. Animal Friends Humane Society is Butler County’s largest and oldest 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter. AFHS relies and depends on ongoing private donations to continue their life saving work. On a typical day, Animal Friends Humane Society houses between 200 and 300 dogs and cats.
