Oregon Humane transforms compassion into action through life-changing programs that support and celebrate the human-animal connection, including adoption, veterinary care, education, humane law enforcement, and legislation. With campuses in Portland and Salem, Oregon Humane is an independent non-profit organization that receives no government funding and is fueled entirely by donors.

Protecting wilderness and wild spaces is extraordinarily important for wildlife and for us. The Yamhill Conservation Trust is a new local organization that works to protect these lands and wild spaces so that wildlife can keep the habitats that they need and deserve and so we can have beautiful, unspoiled nature areas to explore and feel more human in.

We are planning to go to St. Maarten in the winter months to get away from the PNW doom and gloom. It has a little bit of everything we're looking for: adventure, sunshine, good food/drinks, and Jenna's personal favorite: watching planes land from the beach.
