We plan to take a train to Philadelphia for a day where we will see sites such as the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Carpenter House, and many other historic sites.

For the first part of our trip we will be staying in the Westin Crystal City. Its location, directly above the metro line leading into the Capital Mall, will allow us easy access into and out of the city. For the rest of our trip we will rent a car and travel to various landmarks in Virginia.

We will be renting a car for the second half of our honeymoon. We plan to drive to the Luray Caverns, Stafford, Virginia, Annapolis, Maryland, and wherever else time allows!

While most of the museums in Washington D.C. are free, there are some that charge entrance fees. We would like to visit the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, as well as the International Spy Museum, and Ford's Theater.

Big Bus Tours offers a two day pass for a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus tour. It offers live guides, commentary, and refreshments. This tour has stops at the White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, National Cathedral, and many more. It also travels across the Potomac to Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon, and Georgetown.

With all our walking, we will definitely have to eat!
