We are excited to travel to Asia together for the first time! We can't wait to explore the food scene, cities, beaches, and learn more about Vietnamese culture! Your gift will help us take a cruise in Halong Bay, tour sites from the Vietnam War, take food tours in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, and relax on the beach in Hoi An and Danang. Did we mention the food?

With Jeff's return from Boston and our wedding, we look forward to starting the next chapter of our lives. We hope that this will include the purchase of our first home. Gifts to this fund will help us build our downpayment for the future home we hope to buy in DC.

The Cu Chi Tunnels played a huge role in the Vietnam War, allowing the Viet Cong to secretly transport men and supplies. We are both IR nerds and history buffs, and look forward to learning more about this important chapter in Vietnam's history.

After we wrap up our time in Ho Chi Minh, we will fly up the coast to Hoi An, one of Vietnam's premier coastal destinations.

In central Vietnam, we will rent motorcycles to explore what Top Gear has dubbed one of the best stretches of coastal road in the world. Beep beep!

Hanoi is the final leg of our Vietnam tour, the country's capital and bustling city. We will fly from Hoi An to Hanoi on a quick 1.5 hour flight.

We love photos, and can't wait to carefully sort through the photos from our wedding to build the perfect photo album. The number of times we have thinly sliced vegetables/fruits/starches and yearned for a mandoline make this a must-have on our registry. Did we mention we like to cook?

We love the clean look of white dishes, and hope that over the years we will be able to supplement this versatile set with plates, bowls, and platters from our travels. Since these are white, everything else we build into our set over time will match!
