We'll be visiting the Karen Tribe's Native Elephant Village. For centuries this village has lived in harmony with their elephants, seeing the elephants as part of their family. We will get the chance to become a part of this village for a day and each take care of our own elephants! We will learn how to care for, exercise, make herbal medicines, and bathe our elephants. A floating hotel. Or Floatel if you will. Moving away from the big city of Bangkok and out into the jungle to float on a river sounds like a great way to begin relaxing on our honeymoon. This will definitely be a unique experience

Thailand is known for its street markets and street foods. We're going to hop on a tour of the market to know what exactly to eat and what exactly we are eating (probably a scorpion or two, maybe some bugs if we are feeling adventurous) and how to order food in Thai. Should be fun, wish us luck!

Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand. After taking a short flight north from Bangkok, we'll be staying in here for a couple of days. We'll be taking an early tour of the hilltop temple (after climbing 309 stairs) to see the sunrise over the city and temple.

A trip to Thailand wouldn't be complete without learning how to cook your own delicious Thai food! Most classes start by taking you to the street market to buy fresh ingredients, then go to a classroom kitchen to learn to prepare popular Thai meals.

Recommended to Janelli by a coworker, this resort in Phuket has everything needed to relax in tropical bliss. We'll be spending the end of our trip in this gorgeous resort made out of hand carved teakwood.

Made famous by the James Bond movie in 1974, this 130 ft tall limestone island is a part of a beautiful Ao Phang Nga National Park. The tour also includes kayaking through limestone caves and seeing the stalactite and stalagmite formations, as well as kitti bats, the world's smalls bats.

The only way to get to the gorgeous, secluded beaches and islands of Krabi is through hiring private longtail boat charters.

Tuktuks are 3 wheeled open-air scooter taxies that are everywhere in Thailand. Renting your own scooter is another very cheap and easy way to get around the country.
