Shanghai, China's most modern city! In Elsa's opinion, there are few things that beat exploring the streets of Shanghai! Elsa has wanted to go on a Shanghai trip with Jake for a long time, so this experience holds a special place in her heart.

Wuxi! The city Elsa grew up in, and the place she considers to be her real hometown. There are a million and one things to do in the city, and Elsa can't wait to show Jake around. On the bucket list of things to do in Wuxi is to sightsee, eat street food, visit the fancy malls, and possibly visit an escape room.

Harbin, China's famed city of ice! Elsa has been hearing about this city her whole life, so she was super excited when Jake said he wanted to go! In fact, Elsa hasn't even been near this part of China, so this will be an adventure into the unknown for both of them. To be honest, Elsa has always wanted to go and never considered that it would be possible, so please know that you'd be making a childhood dream come true for her!

Delicious food in China is super cheap! We would be beyond honored if you'd be willing to buy us a fancy dinner in China. Beijing is the top of our bucket list of places to go in China! Elsa grew up in Beijing, so this city has a special place in her heart. Elsa also loves Chinese sleeper trains and has been excited to take Jake on one for a long time. This adventure in Beijing would also include visiting the Forbidden City, seeing the places Elsa romped around in as a kid, and lots of yummy food!

Beijing roast duck is Elsa's favorite dinner in the world, and she's been raving to Jake for years about how she's going to take him to get some as soon as they go to China. $25 could buy Elsa all the Beijing roast duck her heart desired, so please accept her deep gratitude beforehand!

Praise be to God, the cheapest flight to China (which we bought) has a 10-hour layover in Istanbul! Both Jake and Elsa are super excited to visit this historic city. This adventure will have Jake showing Elsa around Xi-An. Elsa personally is looking forward to the fascinating history lectures she always gets on these trips.

The Lord really is overwhelmingly good to us! Elsa has always wanted to go to Europe and recently, Jake got Swarthmore funding to go to Greece and take classes! After his classes end, Jake and Elsa plan to take a day trip to Athens. We would be beyond grateful if you would be willing to contribute to our trip, as it's a lifelong dream for both of us!

This is a very specific dinner called "Sour Vegetable Fish", which sounds bad. But Elsa will wholeheartedly tell you that this is one of the most delicious things in the world, it made her smile so big to remember that China had this.
