CAC Beardsley Community Farm works towards a healthier community in Knoxville by providing fresh produce, education, and land & resources for gardening. Kay volunteered here during the two years she spent as an AmeriCorps Member in Tennessee. She spent many Saturdays volunteering to assist with caring for the farm, assisted with their events, and served as a Camp Counselor for Farm Camp.https://www.beardsleyfarm.org/

San Jose Metropolitan Band provides an opportunity for South Bay residents to participate in large ensemble playing while also serving the community.Kay actively serves as a Board Member and has been a member since she moved to California over four years ago. They have become a significant portion of Kay's community in CA and assists with her passion to play music throughout her life.

Redwood Scullers (formerly Stanford Rowing Center) is a community rowing club located on the San Francisco Bay Peninsula. Our mission is to establish and conduct a competitive, open rowing program for youth across the Bay Area Peninsula, teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, and life skills that extend far beyond the boat.
