From the invitations to the catering, weddings (and musical theatre productions) are full of high costs. As a guest at their wedding and in order to show support for their love story, Agnes and Michael invite you to contribute to their very own fictional wedding registry. Show your support of the couple at the center of I Do I Do with a tax-deductible donation to one of several funds, and enjoy being a witness to their roller coaster of love. A traditional wedding registry is a list of gifts that an engaged couple wants to start their married lives together. In today’s world, registries often include non-physical gifts, like cash funds for a honeymoon, or in this story, a charm bracelet fund or wedding photographer fund! Wedding registries have become a fantastic way for loved ones to show support for a new couple, or in our case, a fun, interactive way for you to support the Arvada Center.

Contributions to The Wedding Photography fund are tax-deductible and go toward supporting the cost of documenting I Do I Do on the Arvada Center Stage. Just like how couples hire a wedding photographer to freeze memories of their big day, the Arvada Center hires photographers and videographers to capture beautiful images of all of our theatrical productions. By donating to the Wedding Photographer Fund, you ensure that our production of I Do!, I Do! will be beautifully documented and archived for years to come. Fund goal:

In the musical, Michael gives Agnes a charm bracelet with a charm for each of them and one for each of their two children, leading up to the song "Someone Needs Me.” The Charm Bracelet fund not only supports this important gesture during the production (be sure to watch for it!), but also goes toward a tax-deductible donation to the Arvada Center’s prop and scenic schop who found and created not only the charm bracelets, but everything that you see on our stages. By donating to the Charm Bracelet fund, you allow these artisans to continue carefully crafting and sourcing props and set pieces for the 50 year journey of Michael and Agnes that we follow in I Do!, I Do! And on through the rest of our theatre season. Fund goal: $1,000

Contributions to the Wedding Live Music Band Fund are tax-deductible and go toward supporting the hiring of live musicians to tell the story of I Do I Do. If there is one aspect of a musical that is a must, it’s the music! While you may not be able to see our live musicians in the underground orchestra pit, you can certainly hear them throughout I Do! I Do! By contributing to the Wedding Live Music Band Fund, you allow us to create meaningful paid work for local musicians. Fund goal: $1,000

In the musical, Agnes and Michael dream about playing the saxophone and the violin in the song "When the Kids Get Married.” The Music Lessons Fund supports the retirement dreams of the characters Agnes and Michael as well as the Arvada Center’s robust education program. With over 900 arts education classes and camps available, funding from the philanthropic community and donors like you help provide up to 30,000 children a year with free or discounted tuition so that they may participate in valuable arts experiences.
