We'll be taking a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya to have a chance at viewing the Great Migration from above, and hopefully spotting elusive game that's more difficult to find from the ground- like rhinos! After our ride, we'll touchdown to a champagne breakfast for two. We can't wait for this once in a lifetime adventure!

This food tour was the #1 recommended activity we heard about in Cape Town, and we are SO excited for it! This will be a 5 hour walking tour of local favorite food and wine spots all around Cape Town. We'll be tasting traditional Cape Malay food and visit an old fashioned spice store, and stop in central Cape Town for modern African food, Afrikaans heritage food, a biltong tasting and an artisanal chocolatier. We're drooling just thinking about it!

We'll need a compact, high zoom camera for our safari wildlife shots and to capture memories throughout our honeymoon! We did extensive research and this Canon camera is going to be exactly what we need- long zoom, crisp photos, and easy to use! We can't wait to have gorgeous prints all over our home from this once in a lifetime trip.

We'll spend a day and night in the Cape Winelands, South Africa's premiere region for incredible wine and gourmet food! We can't wait to spend time in this gorgeous part of the country.

Cape Town is such a beautiful and HUGE city that we've decided a full day tour is the best way to see everything we can see! This tour will take us to the Cape of Good Hope (Africa's Southern-Most Point), Boulders Beach to see the colony of wild African penguins, around Table Mountain, and more. We can't wait to see this beautiful city from the best POV!

Cape Town has been named as the "Food Capital of the World" and we intend to eat our way through it! There are some fine-dining restaurants that we absolutely cannot wait to try... we promise to try to bring you leftovers ;)

It's a long journey from New York to South Africa... around 20 hours to be exact! We would love to upgrade our travel to something more comfortable (and let's be honest, special!) so we can arrive to South Africa rested and ready to start exploring!

I mean, fresh pasta... how have we lived without this for so long?! We'll be thanking you as we throw fresh spaghetti at the wall, and let Geoffrey have a taste :)
