We love this anchor chain pillow from Red Barn Mercantile in Alexandria. It would go perfectly with our Boston lobster pillow that we bought on our last trip to Boston (when Matt proposed!).

Katie introduced Matt to homemade ice cream when they visited Katie's grandparents on their farm. Katie grew up making ice cream on the farm every summer and we can't wait to bring that tradition to the city.

You can never have enough cutting boards, and everyone should have a crab cutting board!

Surprisingly, we don't even own a trivet, and we probably should. We've both burned ourselves multiple times trying to slide hot pads under the dish we took out of the oven with the same hot pad!

Our "just-out-of-college" cookware has definitely seen better days. We're ready for some even cooking surfaces.

Katie is always wishing she had prep bowls. She even promises to wash all of them.

Katie loves baking, and Matt loves eating what Katie bakes. A round cooling rack would be the most amazing thing ever. Seriously.

Counter space is limited in the city, so being able to stack cooling racks is perhaps one of the greater luxuries.

We have tried so many pizza cutters and they're all terrible. One day we had dinner with a friend at Ghibellina where the pizzas came with scissors. It was the easiest pizza cutting experience of our lives and we clearly need these in our home.
