We bought a house awhile back and while we are very happy in our new home, it definitely has a unique 1970s style that we would love to update! Some of the potential updates include: new doors to remove the dark brown wood {that drives Heather bonkers on the daily}, painted trim, a complete kitchen renovation, a new pantry where the washer/dryer used to be, and the installation of French doors in the back room to let in sunlight.
