Family and Friends, Hi everyone! Alex and Dexter here. We are so excited that you clicked on our page to learn more about our special project as we embark on this new journey in our life. As you may know, we are planning to begin our marriage this summer by hosting a mixture of the traditional and modern in a beautiful Southern Dallas wedding and reception. Fortunately, we were blessed to inherit a home from Alex's mother and are planning to move-in right after the wedding. The house has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and is located in the Historic Southside of Fort Worth, Texas on a corner plot in the up-and-coming neighborhood. We both have been putting in personal investments and sweat equity to renovate this home, but with Dexter out-of-state receiving his master’s degree at Penn and Alex being tied down by the demands of dental school at Texas A&M, the financial endeavor to flip the house has become a stretch for us. Therefore, we are reaching out to our village (YOU!) for help! Today, we are asking you to plant a seed in our first and primary investment together: our first home. Inside this home we will grow as a unit, a partnership, a family, and outside of this home we will serve in our callings to build and restore neighborhoods, its schools, and its people. We are working tirelessly to do all that we can on the graduate school funds that we have, so any little bit counts to us. We LOVE you and we are GRATEFUL for you. Regardless if you can give or not, this is a family affair and will ultimately inspire a community of growth, inspiration, and togetherness. This campaign will be active up until our wedding day and we plan to share updates (pictures, posts, etc.) as we progress.
