Thank you for contributing our most exciting adventure yet - well, second to marriage, that is! The Azores is made up of 9 beautiful and diverse islands. We will be spending most of our time on three islands: Sao Miguel, Flores, and Terceira. Our first stop is Sao Miguel - its the largest and most diverse island in the Azores. It's known for amazing hiking trails, natural hot springs, and year-round whale watching. We can't wait to spend a week exploring it. Flores Island is the northernmost island of the Azores. It is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It is known for its untouched beauty, which includes stunning vistas, an abundance of waterfalls and hydrangeas, alpine lakes, and hiking trails that traverse the entire island. Last stop will be Terceira, which has rolling greens, sandy beaches, and lots of interesting cultural history. Any contribution is appreciated and will go a long way in making our honeymoon the happiest two weeks we can imagine!

Furnas is a town in the southern part of Sao Miguel that is known for their natural hot springs. We want to kick off our married life treating ourselves to a day at the spa.

Honestly pretty excited about the prospect of having this metallic, eco-friendly beaut in our kitchen.

Flores is the smallest island of the 9 islands in the Azores. We thought it'd be fun spend a day exploring Flores by scooter instead of renting a car! Don't worry, we will wear helmets.

Hannah's #1 Bucket List Dream! The Azores are known for being right in the middle of many year-round whale migration routes, meaning its some of the best whale watching in the WORLD!

We hear that Flores' dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, caves and canyons are best explored by boat. We would love spend a day circumnavigating the island on a personal charter boat!

Friends of ours recommended we try a restaurant called Bar Calouras while we're in Sao Miguel. That's pretty much our favorite type of recommendation to get, and we wouldn't pass up the chance to wine and dine at this special local spot.

We will be spending our Saturday night of our honeymoon in Sao Miguel's big city - Ponta Delgado. We're excited to have a fancy night out on the town at a local restaurant!
