This past year has been a whirlwind — moving from Chicago to Nashville, building a new life, and diving into wedding planning while pushing hard in our careers. We’ve been an incredible team, but we haven’t had a chance to slow down and celebrate us. A honeymoon would be that chance — the first chapter of our marriage, a moment to exhale and be fully present with each other. A chance to start this marriage the way we intend to live it: with intention, with wonder, and with time just for us.

After eight years in Chicago, we took the leap and moved to Nashville — a city we’ve already fallen in love with. We’re building our first home together here, a place that reflects both of us: Stew’s music filling the rooms, Nash and Rory claiming every couch cushion, and a kitchen where we can actually cook together. A house fund would help us turn this new chapter into something truly ours — a home that grows with our marriage from day one.

Between wedding planning, a cross-country move, and two demanding careers, we’ve learned that the best moments are the ones where we actually get to slow down together. A couples massage is exactly that — a chance to unwind side by side, no screens, no to-do lists, just us relaxing into this new chapter. It would be such a lovely way to recharge as newlyweds.

Some of our favorite memories together started over a great meal — trying a new spot in Chicago, discovering Nashville’s food scene, or just a quiet dinner where we could really talk. A dinner out as newlyweds would be a chance to keep that tradition going, celebrating this new chapter the way we do best: good food, good conversation, and each other.

Music has been at the heart of our relationship from the start — it’s what Stew does, it’s how we connect, and some of our best nights together have been at a show. Concert tickets would give us the chance to keep chasing that feeling as newlyweds, standing side by side in a crowd, completely in the moment together.

We’ve always bonded over food — whether it’s experimenting in the kitchen or hunting down the best spot in a new city. A cooking class would be such a fun way to learn something new together as newlyweds, probably laugh a lot, and walk away with a recipe we can add to our rotation for years to come.
