In lieu of wedding gifts, we are asking for donations to Marlee’s Mission—a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for DIPG. This is a rare and aggressive type of brain tumor that primarily affects children. At 8 years old Marlee was a beautiful, healthy girl. She had a smile that would light up the room. On December 16, 2016, Marlee was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG, for which there is no known cure. Marlee completed two rounds of radiation for a total of 42 treatments and never complained once. On January 4, 2018, Marlee lost her battle with DIPG and gained her wings.
