There is no place where radio is a more critical part of a community than in Sitka. KCAW is a station we know and love—we both served on the Board there for 5 years alongside a handful of our amazing neighbors, and listened most nights in The Muskeg House to shows like "Gunalchéesh" or "Bops from the Swamp." Right after the wedding, we're heading to Santa Fe on a long awaited pilgrimage to the Zozobra festival: a 102-year old tradition in which the community burns a towering effigy of their own gloom (https://burnzozobra.com/) Gifts will support two nights at the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs during the festival <3 Later this year, we hope to take a trip to Slovenia to learn more about Frank's family roots.
