One of our major life goals is to be able to own our own home. Your gift will contribute to helping us achieve that goal!

We travel a lot because we love to visit new places and see friends and family. Since we've moved to Seattle, we've flown to Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, Appleton (WI), Miami, Denver, and Lake Tahoe. On our list for places we'd like to visit: Hawaii, Austin TX, Montreal, several European cities, Japan. Your gift will help us continue to have wonderful adventures together!

Generally, we can get around the city great without a car, but if we go camping, skiing, or on a road trip to Portland, Vancouver, or the WA coast, we need to rent a car! Your gift will help us explore the Pacific Northwest!

We frequently use Airbnb when we travel because we often get a different experience than staying in a hotel. Staying at Airbnb's has also led to some great stories :-) Your gift will go towards lodging at Airbnb's when we travel!

Movies are one of Grace's favorite date nights (and for dates by herself!). Some of our favorite movies of 2017 have been Blade Runner 2049, Wonder Woman, Baby Driver, and Dunkirk. Also we want our money back for Alien Covenant.

We love trying out new restaurants in Seattle (and any city we visit!). OpenTable lets us choose a restaurant in our area that we've been meaning to try. Some of the restaurants on our list include Canlis, Toulouse Petit, The Matador, The Pink Door, Stateside, and Copacabana.

Although we were big theatergoers in Chicago, we've only just started to explore Seattle theaters, and have seen a few shows at the 5th Avenue Theater and Seattle Repertory. We're looking forward to seeing more!

We're looking forward to planning our honeymoon in the months after the wedding. We haven't yet decided where we'll go, but the short list includes Hawaii or a longer European trip after Grace's postdoc. Your gift will go towards transportation and lodging!
