Home Cooking New York was founded by Jennifer Clair in May 2002. After years of writing cookbooks, recipes, and food editorials for Martha Stewart Living, the opportunity to come together with eager culinary students in a kitchen classroom seemed like the next logical step. Over the last 11 years, the company has grown to include 6 outstanding chef-instructors, all ready to be dispatched into home kitchens all over New York City, or feel free to sign up for cooking instruction at the school! HCNY’s classes range from the basic cooking techniques to cuisine-focused favorites.

Home Cooking New York

<p>Available in New York - Change up your date night routine with a romantic cooking class at Home Cooking New York.  Each 2 1/2 hour class is has a maximum of 10 students providing an intimate experience. Each student receives a complete recipe packet and enjoys a full sit-down dinner at the end of class.</p>


Public Cooking Class for Two - New York

At their Gourmandise School of Sweets & Savories in Santa Monica, California, French pastry master Clemence Gossett and Southern chef Hadley Hughes offer classes for amateur cooks and budding gourmands alike. The Gourmandise School is a hands-on culinary school with a focus on teaching classic techniques using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The school offers pastry and cooking classes, professional courses and fascinating food workshops.
