Plane trip to and from Rome for our cruise!

For our day in Rome before the cruise!

Two night in Rome post-cruise! Right near the Pantheon (and a gelato stop!)

We have a day-long layover in Dublin on the way home!

We plan to spend a day with a small group exploring Athens. We'll take a bus ride to many highlights, including the Corithian Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathenaic Stadium (where the first modern Olympics was held), Hadrian's Arch, and the Parliament Building. We'll spend several hours at the Acropolis and finish off with some free time out in town!

Nothing like breathing in Malta while Garret drives a 4x4 ATV (yes, there is a note on the excursion that there will be steep ascents and descents!), but anyone who knows us knows we are up for an adventure. During this 4-hour excursion, we will travel from east to northern Malta, through the countryside and several towns, and we'll visit the Red Tower, Anchor Bay, and the Dingli Cliffs. Even a swim stop for K along the way!

In this excursion, we will journey through Sicilian wine country toward Mount Etna, where we get to spend time along the Silvestri Spent Craters. Our day-out in Sicily also will include touring (and eating canollis in) Taormina, a chic'ed up medieval town with ancient Greco-Roman theater. We can't wait to share these firsts together!

A day touring the Amalfi coast and Pompeii! We spend all morning touring the coast by land and sea and visiting the town of Amalfi. After an Italian lunch in town, it's off to explore the streets, temples, and villas of Pompeii. We are especially excited about this fun and historic excursion from our cruise stop in Naples!
