We'll be in Iceland during the fall, when temperatures average 47°F, but staying dry is the real key. Sweat wicking technology and waterproofing are the way to go!

Riding a friendly, stocky Icelandic horse is a wonderful experience for beginners and experienced riders alike. At Hestheimar farm, located a short distance from Selfoss, guest can join a guided tour on beautiful countryside trails. Before riding, your guide will give you a basic overview of the Icelandic horse and helpful riding techniques.

We are arriving to Reykjavik hours before our hotel check in time. Help us eat like the locals while we wait to recover from our flight!
