Gabriella & Elijah's Registry
September 30, 2023
Welcome to our wedding registry! We chose to do a charity registry because we couldn't imagine anything we wanted more than to help animals in need. We have been blessed in this life. Every night we fall sleep knowing that we are safe and loved. All creatures are not so lucky. In lieu of gifts, please donate to one of our favorite charities. It would mean the world to us to see that our friends and family support our dream to do good for animals.

Paw Safe
Group gift
PawSafe began in 1995 by a group of volunteers that came together with a vision of ending the needless euthanasia and suffering of companion animals through aggressive spay/neuter, rehoming and education. Loch and Nessa are just two of the thousands of dogs who have been saved by PawSafe. It would mean the world to us to be able to give back to an organization that has given us so much! ♡ Link: https://pawsafe.org/about-pawsafe-animal-rescue/

Farm Sanctuary
Group gift
For 36 years, Farm Sanctuary has provided a place of peace for thousands of rescued farm animals. In turn, these animals are ambassadors, representing the billions more like them. While they can’t rescue all the animals in animal agriculture, the Farm Sanctuary can heal the animals who have been rescued, and fundamentally impact — often with lasting change — the people who hear their messages of hope, healing, compassion, and love. They began working with animal shelters in Ukraine following the 2014 Russian invasion and will continue to be there for the pets and wildlife caught in this conflict. Animal Welfare Institute
Group gift
Since 1951, the Animal Welfare Institute has been dedicated to reducing animal suffering. AWI seeks better treatment of animals everywhere— in the laboratory, on the farm, in commerce, at home, and in the wild. Thanks to the support and donations from people across the globe:- AWI provided crucial evidence that enabled the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Standing Committee to determine that Japan’s marketing of products from sei whales hunted on the high seas violates the treaty.- They succeeded in getting the Pet and Women Safety (PAWS) Act passed by Congress and signed into law. The PAWS Act expands resources to help domestic violence victims find shelter for themselves and their companion animals while providing law enforcement agencies with additional tools to protect people and pets from abuse.- A bill they introduced into the Illinois legislature to ban the sale of animal-tested cosmetics in the state passed and was signed into law.- In addition to their efforts in the United States, AWI worked with legislators in Canada and Ecuador to pass groundbreaking laws prohibiting the public display of and trade in whales, dolphins, and porpoises.Link: https://awionline.org/
