The Iberostar Las Letras Gran Via Hotel is a beautiful avant-garde boutique hotel on Gran Via, Madrid. We will be in Madrid for 4 nights.

For the souvenirs, postcards, potentially extra bottles of wine to send back home and any other items, we'll likely need a little extra spending money.

We saw these espresso machines all over Italy and we would have taken one home if it fit in our luggage.

Because we are staying in an amazing apartment with a kitchen we want to utilize Florence's Mercato Centrale fresh market and make our own lunches and late night snacks ;)

We are going to learn how to cook authentic pasta and Italian food from scratch from Chef Giovanni's in a kitchen in the Tuscan countryside! We will finish the afternoon off with eating our creations and enjoying Chianti wine.

We will be using the fast train to get from Rome to Florence

We plan on staying three nights in Florence since it is one of the most romantic charming towns. Because we are staying 3 nights we are going to utilize Airbnb instead of a hotel to save some money. The Firenze Card gets us into all museums for the 72 hours that we will be in Florence. We plan on visiting the Uffizi Gallery, the Duamo and many more.

We plan on making most of our meals in Florence in the loft we are renting, but we have to have one romantic meal out. This place is right near our loft and had great reviews!

After visiting the Duomo we want to try this delicious, inexpensive lunch spot that serves simple sandwiches and wine.

This quick lunch spot is right near our apartment and apparently has delicious sandwiches and cheap wine.

Cipolla Rossa is known for their grilled meats and after all the pasta we will have already eaten, some grilled chicken or steak will be a nice change for dinner.

This place is known to have fresh local food served with organic wines. It looks like just the type of cozy place we would like.

This is a place right near our hotel that has great "pintxos" which are the basque version of tapas.

Real Madrid plays Paris Paris Saint Germain in the champions league while we are in Madrid, lucky us! Attending a soccer game is high up on our bucket list so we are excited they are playing while we are in Madrid.

Fonty is a quaint spot where we plan on getting breakfast and espresso one morning.

Crusto has a few locations in Spain and luckily they have one in Madrid. We cannot pass this place up for their breakfast and bread.

This place specializes in wines & Madrid wines and awesome Spanish food with a creative twist.

Founded in 1725, it's the oldest running restaurant in the world! Oldest. Restaurant. Ever! We must go!!

The decor of this place is too great not to visit and eat here.

This place is too beautiful to not have dinner at.

Nothing better than enjoying some salami, cheese, a baguette and wine in the park, Parque del Retiro.

We plan on using the Madrid Card to get into the Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia National Art Museum.

It is only a two hour flight from Florence to Madrid and very inexpensive.

We want to try as much authentic Spanish food when we are in Madrid. Vinoteca Moratin is a small, candlelit bistro style restaurant with a great wine list in a fantastic neighborhood.

This is a great central place with delicious tapas and a courtyard terrace.

We plan on having italian espresso and pastries every morning (evening). Italian's really know their espresso!

Pizzarium is a famous hole in the wall pizza place near Vatican City that sells pizza by weight along with Italian wine and beers.

We selected a classic Italian bed and breakfast in the Tridente/Spanish Steps district as our first place to stay on our honeymoon. It is the perfect combination of comfort, Italian modern charm and cost. It is close proximity to everything we want to see (Pantheon, The Vatican, Spanish Steps, etc.)

After visiting the Colosseum and the Forum, we most likely will be starved and we picked La Barrique as our lunch spot. Because they have our favorite cheese, burrata, on a crostini.

Cafe Greco was opened in 1760 and is Rome's oldest cafe. We certainly need to have an espresso at Rome's oldest cafe.

The Roma Pass allows us to explore all of Rome's most notable museums and historical sites with one pass. We plan on trying to pack in as much sightseeing as possible while in Rome.

Colline Emiliane has been in business since 1931 and we think it is the perfect place for our first dinner in Rome. The one thing we knew we wanted to find while in Rome was the best Bolognese and this will be our first stop to find it.

We plan on going to Life Restaurant on our last night in Rome. It is not too far from our hotel and their menu looks amazing.

Gelateria del Teatro is suppose to be one of the most charming and best gelato shops in Rome. We will let you know if that holds true.

The Lisbon Card will get us into all the great museums including Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and São Jorge Castle. This card will also give us access to trains to cities like Cascais and Sintra which we want to visit.

We cannot go to Portugal and not get some authentic Piri Piri Chicken. Bonjardim is suppose to have some of the best Piri Piri.

Bar A Parodia is a historical cozy bar that we must have a drink at.

It is only a one hour flight from Madrid to Lisbon and only $50 a person.

We will be staying three nights and four days in Lisbon. This is a cute small modern hotel in the city center that is in a great location and also a great deal.

This is suppose to be a nice hidden gem that has shared plates style food.

This is the perfect to bring to Europe for all our picnics in the park.
