Matarkjallarinn (Food Cellar) is a restaurant situated in a 160 year old building in the center of Reykjavík, serving Icelandic brasserie style food using locally sourced ingredients. Help us spend a romantic evening experiencing Iceland's unique cuisine in a fun and exciting locale.

The Reykjavík Botanical Garden contains approximately 3,000 species, subspecies, varieties, and cultivars of plants, many of which are Icelandic natives. For Lunch, the Flóran Café is located in the heart of the greenhouse and a large portion of the raw material used in the kitchen is grown in the surrounding gardens.

All of our Icelandic adventuring will require some pick me ups. Reykjavík Roasters is one of the most prolific and popular coffee chains in Iceland, and as fervent coffee drinkers, we're very excited to know what all of the fuss is about!

The famed Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland's more well-known tourist attractions hailed for its unique geothermal seawater rich in silica, algae, and minerals and found nowhere else on earth. Help us spend a romantic day experiencing the healing and cleansing properties of what National Geographic called, the 25th Wonder of the Natural World.

Iceland has a unique history both nationally and naturally. Reykjavík hosts numerous private and city museums including the Reykjavík Art Museum, Whales of Iceland, and the Iceland Phallological Museum (yes, it is what you think). Due to the nature of Reykjavík's walkable downtown, we hope to spend a day sightseeing and museum hopping in between cafe bouts.

Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake in southern part of Vatnajökull National Park. Help us take a guided boat tour to visit the tongue of the glacier and see the majestic and desolate beauty. Afterwards, we hope to take a self-guided tour of Eystri-Fellsfjara, a diamond black sand beach that borders the lagoon.

Heimay Island is located northwest of Reykjavík and is only accessible by ferry boat. This charming island is perfect for an afternoon picnic and is home to the world's largest puffin colony!
