We are buying a beautiful plot of land in our village and will be building our own home! Help us get started!

Chris has a shed full of tools and half a lifetime of experience. He’ll be building our dream kitchen and bedroom cabinets, saving on costs and allowing absolute customization! However, we can’t do anything without the raw materials— so help us get started with the wood planks we need!

One of the biggest challenges of life in Africa is unreliable (or often zero) electricity. Help us keep the lights on in our new home with eco-friendly and renewable solar power.

While we are DYI-ing as much as possible, sometimes we need professional help! We have our mattresses already, but will need to have bedframes made!

We want the kitchen to be the heart of our new home. Help us get the essentials so we can create meals and memories.

Our new home will be sitting on a open field next to a local river with views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru… as you can imagine, sitting outside will be one of our favorite things to do!

Our current house is rented fully furnished, so we are starting fresh with our new home. Help us create a space to kick back and relax and enjoy some family time.

We are blessed to be living in a country that offers some of the best camping and outdoor experiences. Help us enjoy it as much as possible.

Mandy has taken up golf! Unfortunately the hardest game on earth is only made more difficult with beat-up rental clubs. Help lower her stress levels and her handicap with her own clubs and a golf course membership here in Arusha!
