Faith & Rob will be traveling to Costa Rica for their honeymoon because it allows for the best of both their worlds. Scenic hiking for Faith, and great fishing for Rob.

The second half of our honeymoon will be spent in the mountain region of Costa Rica at the Nayara Springs resort. The hotel overlooks the Arenal Volcano, and will allow for daily excursions to hike and visit waterfalls directly from the hotel.

The day begins at Mistico Hanging Bridges with a two-hour rainforest hike and the chance to spot monkeys, toucans, sloths, and other wildlife. We’ll then continue through secondary forest trails to the Arenal Volcano 1968 Lava Flow, where we’ll enjoy stunning views of the volcano and lake while learning about Arenal’s history, activity, flora, and fauna.

Faith & Rob had a BLAST horseback riding on their trip to Peru, and wanted a chance to see the Costa Rican rainforest in the same way. This gives us a chance to get to the La Fortuna waterfall by horseback, and also gives Faith a chance to redeem herself after being bucked from her horse in Peru and bruising more than just her ego.

After our stay in the rainforest region, we will head to the Pacific coast for a few extra days. This fund will contribute to Robs passion: fishing. There are a ton of fishing charters off the coast of Papagayo, and November is prime time for tuna, marlin, and mahi fishing!

We’ll be starting our honeymoon at the W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal, where jungle meets the Pacific Ocean. Between morning coffee on the balcony, beach days, and exploring everything Costa Rica has to offer, this will be our chance to relax, reset, and ease into married life.

We’ve poured a lot of love (and probably a little too much planning energy) into this weekend. If you’d like to contribute toward our wedding festivities and future adventures, we are incredibly thankful. Celebrating with you means everything to us.
