Esther inherited a KitchenAid mixer from her Aunti Beth this spring. This will hopefully remove the need for the "jab and hope" motion of de-sticking the sides of the bowl with a spatula.

We're always baking something that needs to cool, forgetting that we don't own cooling racks until the spatula is holding the cookie and has nowhere to put it but a roasting pan, making them look like wavy lays chips when cooled.

We ALWAYS have fresh limes around. Marinades, salad dressings, cocktails, tea. Occasionally we host a party and need to squeeze them all at the same time, which is when we regret not having one of these!

We love our yearly trip to the Boundary Waters where Braynell can live out his childhood dream of being a Boy Scout and Esther can live out her childhood dream of falling in love with one.

One of the first things we bonded over was long, picturesque bike rides on rail trails. Our favorites are the Gateway Trail to Stillwater and the Cannon Valley Trail in Red Wing, but we have more on our bucket list! This will make it easier for us to go on more of those biking day trips...with friends or with our kids!

Esther had a roommate once that had a magical ice cream scoop with ergonomics she's been dreaming about since. It's probably this one.

We received a set of these fancy coasters as a gift and have grown fond of them - they're great quality and look great on tables! During parties we run out fast and then start passing out our cardboard ones...

Neither of us have wooden cutting boards, and we're excited about the groove this one has for catching run-off from cooked meats or a juicy watermelon.

We're always trying to bring a big salad to a party and having to split it into two bowls!

Whenever we wash dishes at the houses of friends with mats like these, we find more dishes to wash as an excuse to stand on them longer. Every time we leave, we say to each other "we should get one of those!"
