Brutus is a larger dog and is at risk of something called (Gastric dilation and Vovlvus) It can be deadly to dogs above 75 pounds and are deep chested. The surgery he will get is called a gastropexy and will help to secure his stomach to make sure that he’s at a minimal risk of GDV since his stomach will be secure and can’t turn on itself. He’s a very active dog and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to him or take a chance. Any little bit will help to get him a potentially life saving surgery
