Hello all, thank you for taking the time to read the story we have prepared to share with you. As some of you may know, Elly and Pilo are parents, grandparents, tíos, compadres, amigos but most importantly a support system. They are always there when anyone may need anything from them and always with a genuine smile to do so. This brings me to the moral of this story, after having a brief conversation with our mom...we found out that they never had a honeymoon. Our initial thought was why!?!? You guys are the example of what healthy good loving marriage is like. Well it's not always easy in paradise as you all may know. Back in the 80's this young couple was making moves to pave the road for their future family. Throughout the process they faced uncertainty, betrayal, and a new world. But through it all they had each other and that bond help them face any obstacle. Unfortunately the obstacles became financially strained. Elly worked as a server to save some money and Pilo worked as a fisherman out in Louisiana / Houston. They relied on monies from Pilo's boss to get the wedding underway. This was not the case, the money disappeared leaving them with nothing but the money Elly had saved. The wedding took place and from there they started to work on the future....but that meant from zero. 38 years have passed since that special day on 10/12/85 and we feel it's time to send these two beautiful lovebirds on a honeymoon. Our ask is this, please join us in helping them make it to Las Vegas, we want them to enjoy their time, enjoy Las Vegas, but most importantly enjoy their life together on their honeymoon.
