We love this social enterprise that empowers refugees through culinary education and job readiness training. To us, this amazing project is doing the highest mitzvah on Maimonides’ Ladder of Tzedakah. Like the famous Chinese proverb says "Teach a man to fish."

The JDC, is a Jewish relief organization, active today in 70 countries. It works to alleviate hunger and hardship, rescue Jews in danger, create lasting connections to Jewish life, and help Israel overcome the social challenges of its most vulnerable citizens, both Jewish and non-Jewish. Their reach extends beyond the global Jewish community by providing high-impact disaster relief and long-term development assistance worldwide. Elli interned in the JDC Archives when she first moved to New York and was extremely impressed by the organization’s incredible history of aiding Jews in need and it's current work in Jewish communities around the world including Argentina.

The National MS Fund supports cutting-edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education, and provide programs and services to help people with MS move their lives forward. Like so many, we have a loved one who suffers from this unpredictable disease, and would greatly appreciate your contributions to research that will improve treatment and ultimately put an end to MS.
