Caracol is the largest Mayan ruin in Belize. At its height, the city is believed to have supported a population of over 150,000. Nestled high in the jungle, it is one of our must-see stops in Belize.

Actun Tunichil Munknal is widely regarded as both one of the most incredible cave systems AND Mayan ruins in the world. Discovered in 1986, this elaborate system of caves was used by the ancient Mayans as a site for human sacrifice and other religious ceremonies. Getting there is an adventure requiring a hike through a waste deep rivers before descending into the depths of the cave. As the site is extremely sensitive access is limited and guides are required. Help us get there!

High up in the jungle, the Blancaneux Lodge (previously owned by Francis Ford Coppola) is our second stop. This will be our base to explore the jungles, caves, and Mayan ruins of Belize.

After the wedding we are looking to get away from it all so our first stop is the Victoria House, a colonial era resort on the outer islands off the coast of Belize. Ocean, sand, and relaxation await!

Belize is considered one of the premier diving and snorkeling locations in the world. We plan on spending at least a half day exploring the reefs.
