Our itinerary for a trip of a lifetime: 7/15 Overnight flight LAX-Papeete on Air Tahiti Nui, ferry to Moorea, 3 nights in overwater bungalow Intercontental, ferry back to Papeete dock 7.19, depart on Aranui 5 from 7.19-8.1; ports include Fakarava, the Marquesas Islands, Rangiroa, and Bora Bora. Day pass in Tahiti 8.1, then overnight flight back to LAX!

Our journey begins with an overnight flight from LAX to Papeete, Tahiti on Sunday night, July 15.

We arrive and settle in to our first location...Moorea! Sleeping in, snorkeling from the dock, etc etc etc!!!

Culinary adventures await! Bon apetit!

Time for the next adventure! First boat of the day to our boat for the next 2 weeks.

We are traveling old-world style, on a half freight, half passenger small ship, the Aranui 5.

Apparently these horses are from Chile... the closest continental landmass!

We arrive at daybreak and take a boat to Moorea while the sun rises.
