Our honeymoon begins with a meaningful stop in England, where we’ll celebrate with family who couldn’t be at our wedding. It’s important to us that they still feel included, so we’re gathering for a relaxed celebration filled with love, laughter, and time together. After that, we’ll head to Bora Bora to begin the next part of our honeymoon. There we’ll slow down, unwind, and enjoy time just the two of us in one of the most beautiful places in the world

Lavender’s Legacy Cat Rescue is very close to our hearts. It began with a cat named Lavender who showed up outside our apartment in 2020. Doug and I cared for her and later learned she had inoperable cancer. We only had five months with her, but she changed our lives. In her honor, we built this nonprofit together. We focus on neonatal, senior, and special needs cats who are often overlooked, giving them medical care, love, and safe homes. Every cat we help carries her legacy forward.

The Melting Pot is a really special place for us. It’s where we go for anniversaries and other meaningful moments. Elise always looks forward to the cheese course, it’s her favorite part every time. Doug, of course, saves room for the dessert round and the chocolate fondue. It’s become a little tradition for us, a place where we slow down, talk, laugh, and celebrate life together without distractions.
