As we upgrade from a cozy two-bedroom apartment to a four-bedroom house, we’ve discovered that extra rooms don’t magically come with furniture. Right now, our guest rooms feature cutting-edge design - think a bare mattress lying on an empty floor. We’re hoping to turn them into actual bedrooms, complete with bed frames, nightstands, clothes racks, and maybe even wallpaper that doesn’t peel. The goal: a comfy space for friends, family, and future little ones who may or may not respect bedtime.

We heard marriages are supposed to be long-lasting. It sounds like a pre-requisite is that we'll have to invest in our health. The dream: a home gym where we can lift things up and put them down, sweat a little, and pretend we know how to use resistance bands. Right now, the “gym” is a yoga mat and a single dumbbell (we’re still looking for its twin). Conor and Diana bonded over water—one nearly drowned at four, the other grew up in a 3-gen naval family. Somehow, Diana is the one who always dreamed of having a pool (addict to adrenaline from the fight or flight feel?). It was not a search criterion but their future home surprised them with a “crime scene chic” pool. With your help, they hope to turn it into a resort-worthy retreat: no cracked tiles, no worn-down plasters, no vanishing water, and stairs that stay put.

As a talented entrepreneur, Conor loves to build and make things, and use the best tools for the most fitted jobs. He is exceptional at turning ideas into prototypes, researching, testing, and modifying them into a masterpiece. We would like to reserve the garage where he can store all his tools, house his ideas, get lost in creativity, and perhaps leapfrog into a unicorn! Turns out, buying a house is just the beginning—and ours came with a to-do list that’s more “epic saga” than checklist. From rusting stair rails and stubborn doors to a missing humidifier, a wonky basement window, and a need for drinkable water (minor detail), we’ve got our work cut out for us. As water lovers, we both are spoiled with good quality water. As this is an older house, we could use some help of a water filtering system to ensure the quality of our drinking water. Diana would also love to have a humidifier system in the house to help her dry eyes condition, so it can be so bad that she wakes up in the middle of the night needing to put in eye drops.

We’re a couple with demanding schedules, and in the little time we have, we try to stay healthy and cook a meal or two—though the results are often… questionable. We’re currently missing a good multi-layer electric steamer (for the corn Conor’s planning to grow) and a versatile blender to help us level up our kitchen game.

Our basement, used to be an “entertainment destination" under the previous owners, has been empty and plain for a while, but we see potential—lots of it. We’d love to transform it into a cozy, vibey space for movie nights, game days, and maybe even karaoke (no promises on talent). Conor has kick-started our eco-friendly, non-GMO, organic, all-natural home farm - growing everything from strawberries and corn to exotic peppers, tomatoes, and green beans. Next time you visit, we hope to treat you to a homemade meal that's (mostly) healthy and edible - pending the ongoing improvement of our questionable cooking skills.

After moving nine times in five years, Diana prefers to travel light—perfectly matching Conor’s minimalist style. While we believe that each other's presence is all we need to feel grounded, we'd love to sprinkle a bit of color, art, and decor into our no-frills home—bringing warmth and personality as we root our love into something lasting.
